1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the FuelFile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. License to Use

xhub.io grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own personal or business receipt-tracking purposes, subject to these Terms.

You may not:

Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright or proprietary notices

3. Free Tier & Subscription

The App is free to use within the following limits: one vehicle and up to ten receipts. An optional "Pro" subscription removes these limits and unlocks the DATEV-CSV export and batch export. The following terms apply:

The Pro subscription is available as a monthly or yearly plan; the yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial.
Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store), subject to their respective terms.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Management and cancellation happen in your Apple or Google account settings.
You can re-activate previous purchases using the "Restore Purchases" function within the App.
Refund requests must be made through Apple or Google directly — we cannot process refunds ourselves.

4. No Tax or Accounting Advice

FuelFile is a tool for capturing and exporting fuel receipts and does not constitute tax, accounting, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness and fitness for tax or accounting purposes of the data captured and the files exported (including DATEV exports). Review all entries before use and consult a tax advisor where appropriate.

5. Accuracy of Text Recognition

Automatic receipt text recognition (OCR) is provided on a best-effort basis and may contain errors. We make no warranty as to the completeness or accuracy of the recognised values. Please review and correct the recognised data before saving.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Tamper with the App, its data, or network communications
Circumvent the purchase mechanism or unlock Pro features without purchase
Disrupt or interfere with the App's intended functionality

7. Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including graphics, source code, user interface, and branding — is the property of xhub.io or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. "TankKosten" and "FuelFile" are trademarks of xhub.io.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted, error-free operation. You use the App at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, xhub.io shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including loss of profits or data — arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App without notice if you violate these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability) shall survive.

11. Third-Party Services

The App uses RevenueCat to process in-app purchases. RevenueCat's use of your data is governed by their own privacy policy. Platform billing (Apple, Google) is governed by Apple's and Google's respective terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Switzerland.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
